e governance means reaching out to the public through online service through public service. This can save the money and time of both the government and the public, and you do not have to turn round about the various offices again. Simply put, all government works have been made online under eGovernance so that people can apply online for various tasks sitting at home.

Making available to the common citizens of the government through the Internet is called e-governance or e-governance. Government services and information are available online under it. The Indian government established the electronic department in 1970 and the establishment of the National Informatics Center in 1977 was the first step towards e-governance.

Today the governments of India and almost all major Hindi-speaking states are making their facilities available to the general public through the internet. All basic facilities are available in Hindi, admission in school, paying bills or making income-tax certificate. In this direction, it has just begun and it is believed that all basic government facilities will be met through computer and mobile in the coming time, which will save time, money and labor and contribute to the development of the country.

Work done under e-Governance
You can avail all the baking services through online banking.
All the work related to GST can be done online only.
Bills for electricity, water, telephone, mobile, DTH etc. can be filled online.
Verification of PAN card, Aadhar card, ration card, passport, caste certificate, caste certificate.
All income tax returns can be done online.
Train, bus and airplane tickets can book online.

Types of  e governance
E-governance is of 4 types and four have a different system and work series. Under which he works, it has a complete system, which helps in achieving the objective. Some types of this are as follows: -

1. G2G (Government to Government): - G2G means government, when information and services are in the periphery of the government, it is called G2G interaction. It works between different governmental institutions and national, state and local government institutions and between different levels of the entity.

2. G2C (Government to Citizen): - Citizens from G2C which is the government, it is called G2C in talks between the government and the general public. A process here has been established between the government and the citizens, so that citizens can access various types of public services. Citizens have the freedom to share their views and complaints on government policies at any time, anywhere.

3. G2B (Government to Business): - Business from G2B, which helps in negotiating e-governance business class smoothly with the government. Its purpose is to establish transparency while negotiating with the government and in the business environment.

4. G2E (Government to Employees): - G2E ie the government employee, any country's government is the biggest employer and therefore works with the staff on a regular basis, it is efficiently and fast between the government and the employees. It helps in making contact, as well as increase their benefits to reach their level of satisfaction.

E-Governance Stages
It is clear in various research studies that e-governance is fundamentally linked to the development of networking of computer technology, computer and communication systems. E-governance in India started in four phases

Computerization: In the first phase, personal computers were installed with personal computers installed in all government offices. The use of computers began with word processing, after which data processing was accelerated.

Networking: At this stage, some units of some government organizations were linked to various governmental institutions through a hub for the exchange of information and data flow.

On-line presence: In the third phase, with the increased Internet connectivity, a requirement was felt to maintain presence on the web. As a result, websites were maintained by government departments and other institutions. Generally, these web pages / web-sites had information about the organizational structure, contact details, reports and publication, the purpose and vision details of related governmental organizations.

Online interactivity: A natural significance of on-line presence was to open communication channels between government organizations and citizens, civil society organizations etc. The main objective of this phase was to reduce the scope of the individual interface with government institutions by providing a downloadable form.
Therefore, e-governance gives an excellent opportunity for India so that the quality of governance can be radically improved and thus

Allow for two-way communication between the government and the citizens, not only for the delivery of services but also to obtain citizens' opinions on policies and government performance.
Provide more access to excluded groups, who have some opportunities to interact with the government and benefit from its services and plans.

Include all sections of society in the mainstream of development.
Get fast and convenient access to services in their own neighborhoods to enable the rural and traditionally marginalized areas of the population.
